New Volvo S60 T5 Review

This new version will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine, which offers a total of 250HP and 266 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with memory, power folding rear head restraints, front seats and rear sports a leather steering wheel with metal inlays, dual-zone air conditioning, sound system and infotainment eight speakers, Bluetooth interface telephone hands -free T-Tec upholstery, textiles and 17-inch alloys. The S60 has some security equipment technology available, including a pedestrian detection system that can automatically stop the car from low speed, if he feels someone in front of the car. However, we find it hard to get this feature in our S60 T5, then ignored it.

Our $ 35,100 car has the premium package (leather, power passenger seat, moonroof) and the Climate Package (heated front seats, headlight washers). Like several other European brands, Volvo charge to paint your car for anything other than black or white base, resulting in a steep $ 550 for Caspian Blue (some say navy) metallic paint. Silver is not the best color of the new S60, and the standard 17-inch wheels also make the belt long nose, high outside any favors. With “black hot metal” paint and more delicate 18-inch alloys, the T6 previously tested was considerably more attractive.
